What do I do on days that my sweet mini man visits his daddy?

Well, for starters, I sleep in.  I declare the day "Lindsey Day," then I roll out of bed, find something to munch on then perhaps crawl back into my bed of pillow perfection.  Then I plan out my day.  Today, for example, I did Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred.  Um, wow.  That crazy woman knows her stuff.  I just started that and I am already seeing results.  THEN I cleaned my house, took a bubble bath, then had a bowl of my favorite cereal, Special K.  Yes, I ADORE everything Special K!  Their cereal, their granola bars, and their CHIPS!  Seriously, a.maz.ing.  Low calories and super good.   Now I am sitting in the hallway, updating this.  BUT I soon plan to paint my nails and toenails my favorite hot pink, get dolled up for the day, and go to a crop group that they have here in Pocatello.  I am making the cutest little baby shower invites for my friend's shower.  These babies will be CUTE!  I will post a pic when I am done.  I have put 2 hours into them so far and like 3 hours of planning haha... and seriously just beginning.  I looooove crafting.  It is therapy for me.  It keeps me distracted from missing my baby boy so much and keeps me sane.  What am I doing after that?  I don't know, the day has endless possibilities.  We shall see!  Happy Saturday everyone.  Or better yet, Happy Lindsey Day!

Lindsey thoughts... brace yourselves

Soooo.... I have spent some time with my dentist.  Oh wait, haha that sounds "questionable."  No, I have been to the dentist a few times lately.  I got to enjoy a great hour or so of happy gas.  I giggle like a child on that stuff.  I even watched the black and white old-school channel while on happy gas and it was great!  (heehee)  Which lead me to my newest thought....
You know how the "bad guys" in movies always have like a silver tooth?  Isn't that an old school crown?  When would a villain have time to go to the dentist?  OR even have the thought to go to the dentist?  Interesting, huh?  (I am so smart, I don't even know what to do with all the knowledge in my head.

We spent a while in an adorable little condo in Park City (Utah; in case I get lucky and people from a far actually take a gander at this) and it was seriously a week of HEAVEN!  I got to just enjoy my little Maxton without work calls, waking up early, cleaning house, or anything else to interrupt our fun.  We hit the Coaster, zip line, slide and all of the fun things up there on the ski hill.  Maxton had a blast.  He giggled the whooooole way down, which caused this little Momma to giggle, which also caused contagious smiles to anyone who saw us on the way down (isn't laughing like magic?!).  It was great.  We are most def going to have to make a "tradition" out of this one.  Wanna feel our fun via photos?!

He is tall enough!  Atta boy!

My little (but taller) brother.  I smoked him down this.

Look at his grin!
Best. Pic. EVER. WEEEEEE

Cheeto Monster

(Giggles)
Has anyone ever noticed how all the building are like following some kind of "color code?"  I would like to create a town like that.  All pale, pastel colors.  Adorable.
Even the t.p. is softer in Park City.
And I SWEAR I saw Tiger Woods at a fancy "shmancy" sushi place.... but no... just cause the guy was wearing golf clothes...... well, let's just say it wasn't him.  I even whipped out Maxton's flash cards and pulled out a "TIGER" flash card and kept asking Maxton to say it louder............. just to see if the man would answer.  Nope.  Baha.

Life is always exciting with Lindsey.

One time I got hit by a mini van...
Not even kidding, ask Maxton.
We were in the Winco parking lot of glamorous POCATELLO, IDAHO and the darn apple juice slid off the bottom so I bent over to pick it up.  As I was getting back up, the mini van OBVIOUSLY didn't see me (I have a height deficiency problem) and started to back up.  I got bumped by the VAN!  I pounded on the back window and the dumby just put it in drive and waited for me to move.  Haha the lady didn't even get out and say sorry.  Whatever, it was funny.  Lindsey got hit by a mini van.

Happy Birthday Maxton!

I can't believe my baby is THREE!  Where did the time go?  (Isn't that what all of us moms say?)  He got double spoiled (the "ups" for Maxton having mom and dad living apart) again this year and he loved every second of it.  The first party we had was a Monster Truck themed pool party!  He had a blast and loooved the "Bid Trrrucks!" Best part for me was, I got to completely plan and put together two parties for my monkey!

mmm.. my fave summer food

I sure love that "fake" half-grin smile!

Perfect weather <3

He was all grins!

Yes, he jumped!  So did my heart!

This was the face I got after he realized that monster truck wasn't just candy!
Thumbs up Momma, meaning, a job well done!

Party number two was a "Mater Party!"  We got together and ran wild at a park for a few hours.  We rode bikes, played on the toys, golfed and had an intense game of kick ball.  Maxton couldn't even contain all of his excitement!  Afterwards we went to my house for the cake, ice cream and presents.  My mom ordered him a huge Mater Tall Tales set from the Disney Store and there seriously couldn't have been a better gift!  I got him the DVD to go with it and it's so funny to watch him hold up the figurine that matches the one on the clip.  :)  Great job, Grandma!
I baked all day long.... scratch that Fred Meyer's bakery baked all day long.  Think I have time to bake?HA
"Maxton, Mater is looking at you."  (Maxton leans back)

He is such an AMAZING little golfer!

"...And he kicks it out of the PARK!"
Hey, where are you going?!
Maxton negotiating staying longer.... me trying to comprehend his language.

Another success!

What? I have to update this thing?

I had the worst blond moment ever.  Well, who am I kidding, stuff like this happens like everyday but this was to the extreme.  I was walking into Papa John's (I love their pizza) and the sign said, "Open 11:00 am to 11:30 pm."  I got completely disgusted and said, "these guys are only open for a half hour today?!"  After being laughed at (extra hard core) and laughing at myself I learned to rethink before I speak.

One of my all time favorite games is Mexican Train.  I was introduced to it during Thanksgiving of 2010 and I am in love.  So anyone who ever wants to play Mexican Train, I am so down.
Bring your 'A' game.
Can't read my poker face.

Not this last weekend but the weekend before Maxton and I went up to my work to do a little cleaning and make sure things were up to date.  I had four balloons I was going to just pop and toss but then I had the world's most brilliant idea (I get lots of those) and Maxton and I went and sat on the curb during sunset.  I asked him what he thought about letting the balloons fly up in the sky. :)  He was a little hesitant and first and pulled the balloon strings close to his mini body but then those big brown mischievous eyes started sparkling.  :)  We let go of the balloons one by one and watched them until the completely disappeared.  It was such a perfect Mommy/Maxton moment and I can honestly say I don't love any moments more than Mommy/Maxton moments. :)  I snapped a few pics with my phone.  Sorry they aren't super clear.
Thinking of letting the balloons go

After getting settled (unloading his big trucks from his back pack) we let them go!
Bye bye balloon!

On the way home it was dark and I had the sunroof open.  Maxton was watching the big, bright moon and he said, "Mommy, mommy!  The moon is fowowing us!"  So cute.  Then we decided the balloons went all the way to the moon.  I think I can honestly say that every single day brings me to love my silly little Maxton more and more!

I had some pictures done by the amazing Jessamyn Rasmussen of Uptown Photography!  It was so much fun and she did an awesome job.  Seriously, this girl has great talent and great taste.  Wanna see my favorite pics?!

Didn't she do great?!  She made me look like a babe! heehee

Photo Booth
Maxton and I love this thing.  For all of my readers (total of like 2) who don't know what Photo Booth is, it's a little photo-taking program on Mac computers.  Maxton and I probably are close to hitting the max about of pictures you can take on this baby (well, if there was a limit of course...ha). Wanna sneak peak of our fun?

Don't be jealous of all the fun Maxton and I have together...  I know you are. ;)

Ok, so we all know Lindsey loves shoes, right?  Well, I love pink too. Mix the two and this is what I come up with.

Isn't this the most perfect thing you have ever seen?

Love this one too.  This has Lindsey written all over it.
